NDIS Funding

Nova Orthotics is a registered provider with the NDIS.

Orthoses are included in the Assistive Technology section of your plan and are a quotable item.

As Certified Orthotists we are registered AT assessors. This means that we can assess your child’s orthotic needs and submit the AT P&O form and a quote to the NDIS for you. Other AT assessors (such as your physio) are also able to submit this paperwork.

Once the orthoses have been approved a service booking is made through the NDIS portal and we can make an appointment to cast the orthoses.

EnableNSW & NSW Health -Nova Orthotics is a registered provider with Enable NSW and NSW Health. Your referrer (pyhsio or doctor) will apply to these funding bodies as appropriate.

DVA (Department of Veteran’s Affairs)- You will need a referral from your GP. Nova Orthotics will then liaise on your behalf with DVA regarding your funding.

Insurance and Charity Organisations: Nova Orthotics accepts funding from various sources and will liase directly with these organisations once your funding has been approved.

Private Patients: We have provider status for numerous health funds including Medibank Private, HBF, HBA, BUPA. Clients will need to contact their individual funds to ascertain their level of cover. Full payment will be required at the time of service unless prior arrangement has been made.
